Tuesday of this week was Seth's birthday. Audrey Claire and I, along with several friends, put together a surprise party for him that night. And boy was he surprised. I asked my friend Lydia if we could have the party at her house because it's bigger and we could have a bonfire in their backyard. She (and her husband Justin, can't leave him out!) was ever so gracious and agreed to let us party there!
I knew Seth would want to go out to eat for his birthday so I planned on telling him we could go on a date and Lydia was going to babysit Audrey Claire. I thought this was a perfect idea because we have done that before and he would suspect nothing. When we showed up at Justin and Lydia's house to "drop Audrey Claire off" several of our friends were standing in their living room! Annie and Matthew even made it for the surprise via Skype. We have been blessed with such a great group of friends! And don't worry, we got to go on a real date later in the week.
The fire got a little big. This picture shows how far away we could stand and still feel the heat.
Tucker spent the night with us and took AC walking outside the next day. I had to laugh at this picture because it really looks like a senior portrait of Tucker!
All the babies at the party. At times it looked like a baby's party rather than an adult's. We were missing one too! Baby Owen wasn't feeling his best this day so he didn't get to come.
