Hey! Remember me? I know it's been forever but I am finally starting to feel somewhat normal again and ready to start posting again. So I guess I should start by explaining the last post:) We found out August 22nd that we were expecting baby number two! We are very excited, anxious, nervous and everything else that goes along with having a new baby (and a 2 yr old). Our due date is April 24, 2011 which is Easter Sunday.
I also started teaching preschool in August. When you combine that, morning sickness that can hit at any moment of the day, and a 21 month old, it can lead to some serious exhaustion! But like I said, I am slowly but surely making progress. I have a couple of things from the past two months that I want to post about and I am going to start with the most recent and backtrack.
Earlier this week, Seth had to go to the Baptist building in Jackson for school stuff. Audrey Claire and I were out of school for fall break so we loaded up the car and made a trip out of it. We spent Monday night at Mawmaw June's house. Tuesday morning, Seth's Uncle David came over for lunch and Audrey Claire fell in love with him! She stood by him like this for at least five minutes. She was so relaxed, I really thought she was going to sleep. I know he was loving it too!
AC really enjoyed spending time with Mawmaw and showing off her new tricks. I think AC could've stayed there a few more days to play with Mawmaw and Georgie (Mawmaw's dog).
While headed to Jackson Monday, I remembered the MS State Fair was in town. In an attempt to relive my childhood memories, I decided to take AC there Tuesday morning. ReRe and Pops met us there.
It took her a while to warm up at the children's livestock area. She really isn't a fan of animals but more than that, I think she was really overwhelmed by all the sights and sounds. This is how she looked at most of the animals to begin with...
We finally got a smile!
She got the most excited about the baby chicks.
She went back over the to chicks after we walked away and said "Hold" so they got one out for her again.
Here we are "milking" the cow
Cheese!
Riding the pony! I couldn't believe she got on it! But notice the excitement on her face compared to mine. I was definitely more excited than she was. At least she wasn't screaming.
Petting zoo time!
Ok. So being pregnant, I totally understand weird cravings and such but this blew me away~
Only my child gets more excited about cars than live animals! She ran all over this area.
And did a little dance too:)
Hope you've enjoyed some of the 100 pictures I took that day:) And I promise to do a better job at posting now. Well, at least until April:)
Glad you are back! Hope you are feeling well...
