We have been able to see all of Audrey Claire's grandparents in the last few weeks and even some of her great-grandparents. We've had several visits with them which included trips to Crystal Springs, Jackson and Wesson. They even found their way to Hattiesburg a time or two. She is so blessed to have so many grandparents who spoil, I mean love, her.
The most recent news would be that Audrey Claire is officially on the move. I can no longer put her on the floor in one place and expect her to be in that same place five seconds later. I wouldn't exactly call it crawling yet, but it's definitely a form of it. It's more like scooting/wiggling/whatever she has to do to get where she wants to be.
She is also trying to start pulling up on things. Yesterday, I found her trying to reach the top of the couch cushion. Then later on in the day, she was grabbing the top of her bed trying to stand up. I think we are going to have to lower her bed soon. I don't want her to pull up one night and end up flipping over the side of it. OK, I realize I may be acting a little too pre-cautious, but give me a break, I am a first time mom:)
Yesterday, she made a new friend. One of my students from last year is in the middle of changing schools so I am homeschooling him during the transition. It's fun being a teacher again and AC loves having another little person in our house everyday. It's taking a little getting used to having another person here all day but overall it's going great!
Well, I have probably missed a few things that have happened recently but promise to start updating more often. I just hate I can't add pictures right now! Hopefully we get that handled soon.
