ONE YEAR OLD Big Girl

We officially have a big girl on our hands! Here is what our little monkey is up to these days:

• She weighs 24 pounds now.
• She talks a lot more! She says Mama, Dada, Cat-Cat and several other things.
• No more bottle! We are officially drinking whole milk from a sippy cup. (Which was way easier than I thought it would be!)
• She can walk! Notice I said can. She doesn't do it that often. Crawling is just a lot easier. I tell people she can walk but is not a walker quite yet.
• Here is my monkey's first ride in her carseat on the way home from the hospital exactly a year ago today.

And here she is sporting her new big girl car seat!

• Audrey Claire has been such a picky eater but I am trying to get her to eat "big girl" food. She has a texture issue and really just prefers to eat baby food. The doctor says it's normal but to keep trying table food. So we tried a peanut butter sandwich. Did she like it you ask? You be the judge...

In she goes with a bite...

And right back out it comes...

"I am not eating this. You want a bite?"

• Lastly, we went for her 12 month check-up today where she had to get three shots and have blood drawn. The picture earlier of her in the big girl car-seat was on the way there. On the way home, however, she was no so happy. Bless her heart, I really can't blame her!
