After we visited with the Parkers, Audrey Claire and I went to our former pastor's house to visit with his family. We absolutely love the Worsham family! Bro. Mark was our pastor at Calvary Baptist Church while we were in Cleveland. He and his wife were such an encouragement to us during our time up there. They don't have small children but they do have a grandson which meant toys to play with! AC loved playing at their house. She especially loved this little tug boat! She knew exactly what to do when she got in it. She was steering and changing gears. Daddy would have been proud!
Next we were off to visit with the Cummins! These people were really more like family than just friends. Dr. Cummins (the mom) was my teacher at Delta State just about every semester I was there. And I babysat the girls every day after school and during the summer. And I can't leave out Mr. Mark. He did the "fatherly" things while I was up there like jumping off my car in the freezing cold because I left my lights on. I wouldn't have made it without this family either!
I really do miss these girls! They are growing up so fast. Kellie is in Jr. High now and has a boyfriend. She was only in the 4th grade when I met them! And little miss Hayley is in 5th grade! It was really weird for them to be playing with my baby. I felt like I should still be in school babysitting them! They really enjoyed playing with AC; however, their dog Lightning wasn't such a fan. The picture kinda makes him look mean but he was just checking out the new person in HIS house.
By the time we left their house it was getting pretty late. But not too late to I-Chat with Daddy! We had fun telling him about our visit. And since Uncle Justin was at our hotel, AC got to stay up past her bedtime so she could play with him. We all had fun watching her make funny faces! Here are a few pics from that part of the night-
That's all for this post. Next post will be all about Justin's flight competition which is the reason we went to Cleveland! Stay tuned!
