Getting Crafty

Earlier this week my cousin Jackie came to town for a few days. It was SO nice to have her here to help with Audrey Claire while my student and I did school stuff. When he left, Jackie and I loaded up Miss Priss and headed to Hobby Lobby and met Lindsey. I swear we walked up and down just about every aisle in that store! We had a blast. It was fun looking at stuff and getting new ideas. Every other sentence coming from Jackie or me was "Oo, I could use that to make..." I am all about making things these days. I guess you could say I am trying to be "crafty". Anyway, to all our parents and grandparents, you may be getting a "home-ade" Christmas present this year, just warning you!

While we were there, we found AC some cute new accessories. I didn't buy them this trip, but she may have these before we get her pictures taken next week.

Poor little monkey was so tired. But her LiLi held her while we continued to shop around!

I have been wanting something hanging here in AC's room but didn't really know what I wanted. This adds some much needed color in her room and matches her name, bow holder, trash can and lamp. Slowly but surely the girl's room is coming together. Maybe by the time she is 4 I will have her room just like I want it. Just in time for her to be ready to change it all!
