Audrey's room

Audrey Claire's room has been a work in progress for a while now. I knew from the beginning what I didn't want her room to look like but wasn't exactly sure of how I wanted it to look. I searched for hours upon hours for bedding and decorations. I just never could find what I was looking for. A friend of mine, Lydia, gave me the great idea to pick out different scrapbook paper to incorporate into a theme.
That's when things finally started to come together. I picked out several patterns at Hobby Lobby that were the same color scheme and was able to decorate lots of things with it! You would be surprised what you could do with wood, scrapbook paper, and modge podge! We decorated a lamp, trash can, and a bow holder. But something was missing. I wanted her name on the wall. This was a whole new search in itself. I spent hours and hours in stores and online looking for the perfect wooden letters. They were all either too tall, too short, or just flat out too expensive. Then one day I finally discovered "the ones" on Ebay and they came in today! I was totally like a kid on Christmas morning. Seth beat me to the door when the mail lady dropped off the package but I jerked the box out of his hands quickly. Seriously, I ripped into that box like it was gold. When I finally saw the letters my mind starting racing! I couldn't just hang up brown letters. That's boring. So I came up with an idea and we headed to Hobby Lobby for some wood and more scrapbook paper. A few hours later this is what is hanging above my little monkey's bed:
This was definitely the missing piece to the puzzle of decorating Audrey's nursery and I am tickled pink!

I realized when I was finished typing this that I should have included pictures of the rest of her room but can't take pictures now since she is sleeping. I will add those later!
