This week I have enjoyed seeing people update their facebook or blog with back to school or first day of school pictures. I even made a visit to the elementary school where I taught last year. All of this was starting to make me miss teaching and wonder if I made the right decision to stay at home this year. Today, with the help of a little photo shoot with my monkey, I realized that I had indeed made a WONDERFUL decision.

This was when Daddy joined us. I love watching her face light up when she sees him!
We may not get to go out to eat much or go on vacation in the next year but I will take days like today over that anyday! I know not every mom gets to stay at home and I may not get to for long so I am trying to take advantage of every second I have! And by the way, she is not usually dressed up like this unless we are going somewhere but her friend Owen is going to make his debut into the world any day now and she just wants to be prepared. A pretty girl like her never knows when she may meet "the one"!
So have I mentioned I really enjoyed our photo shoot today? I should make this a routine and do it every Friday! What do yall think?
