She's 7!

I am late with this but last week Audrey Claire turned 7 months old! A lot has changed in just a short period of time. Here is an update of what she is up to these days:

-She LOVES her walker. This may be the best investment I've made so far. It is so nice for her to be able to "get around on her own". And get around she does. She is all over the place. She loves to go all over the house but a few of her favorites are by the back door so she can see outside, right in front of the stove in the kitchen, by the computer so she can see her picture (ok so she's kinda vain, but wouldn't you be if you were as cute as she is?), and in our bedroom looking at herself in the mirror (told you she was vain).
-She is talking a lot more these days. She mostly says "Dadadadada"! I have a video I will upload later of her talking.

-Have I mentioned that she is growing? She just had her 6 month check up two weeks ago and is in the 99th percentile for her height and went down to the 94th percentile for her weight. The doctor says her height and weight are proportioned, just most babies her size are 9 months old. I know Daddy is hoping for a basketball player!

-She really hasn't tried to crawl too much this month. But if you went and stayed with your grandparents wouldn't you try to be held as much as possible? Maybe we can work on that this month!

-We haven't been doing much baby food. I know babies are supposed to make a mess but things got out of control with her. Every time I gave her solid food, she spit out every bite. Not because she didn't like it, but because she thought she was cute. She would spit and laugh about it. She really ended up getting more on her and me than she ate! So instead of getting aggravated with her we put the baby food aside last month. Her doctor says nutritionally, she gets everything she needs from the formula. I guess that's another thing we can work on next month.
-She still has only two bottom teeth; however, I think some more may be on their way. Absolutely everything within reach goes in her mouth so she can chew on it. She is also drooling a lot more than she was.

-She is now a big girl and goes to the nursery for Sunday School and "Big Church". She even goes in there for night church too. This took me a little while to get used to. Up until this past Sunday I would go check on her in between class and big church.

-We are experimenting with juice in a "sippy cup". We started that just yesterday. We have only tried apple juice so far. She mainly likes to chew on the cup. Go figure!

-Lastly, she spent her first nights without Mommy and Daddy this month. We went to Kentucky for a few days and she stayed with ReRe and Pops in Crystal Springs. I know she had a great time. I hear she even got to work for Mrs. Amy at KeyHabits even though we haven't seen a check. We missed her a lot but we were able to video chat which really helped!
