Weekend Wrap-up

As usual, we had a busy weekend. It started Friday night when my parents (Re-Re and Pops) came to stay the night. They got here late so Audrey Claire didn't even know they were here until she woke up Saturday morning. What a good surprise for such a sweet little girl! Also a usual event happened- we went SHOPPING! Audrey Claire always know when Re-Re and Pops come that means we are going somewhere. My brother needed some things for school and Audrey Claire has outgrown all of her precious little gowns that she slept in and needed some new footed pjs. So off we went, but not before Pops let AC have a little taste of Diet Coke. Ok just kidding. But she loved playing with the bottle!

Audrey Claire has a new "face" to show off. And believe me, she did just that all day Saturday. I was finally able to capture a picture of her doing it. How cute is she? Most of the time she does it when she is mad but sometimes we can get her to do it on command.

Sunday we had more visitors! Memaw and Graypop (Seth's grandparents) came to town and we went to lunch at one of our local favorites, Brownstones. As usual, the food was amazing! Since last time we visited with them I took no pictures, I made sure to take lots this time. It was really hard to get Audrey Claire to look at the camera. We were outside so the wind was blowing her and cars driving by kept getting her attention. Not to mention it was 2:00 and the child had only had a 30 minute nap!

Seth's cousin Josh also joined us for lunch. She was in awe of him. She just kept looking at him. I think she was thinking "Hey, you kinda look like my daddy!"

Another special thing Sunday was our friend Lydia's birthday. We went to some friends' house to have cake and ice cream to celebrate Sunday night! Audrey Claire hasn't seen her friend Judah in a while so I put them together for a little photo shoot. Do you know how hard it is to get a 7 month and a 3 month old to sit still and both look at the same camera? It was so funny! This is the best we could do between Audrey pushing Judah over and them both falling forward.
